I had originally started collecting bottlecaps for a perpetual calendar project I was pondering. After changing my mind about the technique on that one (check back on Friday to see what I decided to do instead), I wanted to do something with the caps I had already collected. I decided to make some Fuzzy Brew magnets (seeing as how they’re beer bottlecaps, it only made sense). The best part is that I was able to make them without having to buy any supplies!
For this project, I used:
Bottlecaps (try not to bend them too out of shape when opening the bottle)
Paper (I made little tiny Fuzzy Brew logos, but you can use patterned paper, pictures, whatever!)
1″ round paper punch
Glue
Mod Podge Dimensional Magic
Magnets
Step 1: Using the 1″ punch, make your paper discs.
Step 2: Glue the disc into your bottlecap.
Step 3: Cover the disc with a layer of Mod Podge Dimensional Magic. There is no need to fill up the cap completely, just make sure you cover the entire paper disc.
Step 4: Once dry, glue a magnet to the back of each bottlecap.
One little thing that I didn’t anticipate… the yellow on the beer mug ran a little. Maybe try using a color laser printer instead of an ink jet?

You are so creative. I have a question for you? I have every single Christmas Card for about 15 years given to me. Do you have any ideas for using them? I was thinking of maybe cutting out images and making a magnet. Or????? Wallpaper for a wall??? Jackie your fan
