So, I’m cheating today (technically yesterday). The prompt for today’s picture was “Someone You Love.” I really wanted to take a picture of my mom, but she lives 7 hours away, so that wasn’t an option. You see, mom has been going through chemo for several months. Her last treatment was a few weeks ago, and yesterday she got the all clear from her doctor – no signs of cancer on her scans, and no further treatment is needed! YAY!!!

So, since I couldn’t take a picture of her, I’m just going to share a few of my favorite pics of her/us. I promise I’ll get back on track today.

I guess I don’t consider the coffee itself a bad habit, but going to the coffee shop a few mornings a week instead of making it myself definitely qualifies. In addition to spending the money, it makes me even later for work than usual.

My first attempt at apple chips. They were an unmitigated disaster (burned the everloving crap out of them), but the photo is kind of cool.

So, this was not my best week ever, thanks in large part to this green plate. It’s a custom order that I’ve been working on for about a week now, and when I took it out of the  kiln on Thursday, I discovered that it had cracked. So annoying, considering the amount of time and effort I had put into it.

So, not exactly a happy photo of the day, but I snapped it to send to my customer to give her an idea of what it would look like, and it is green, so there you have it. Sadness.

Instead of doing a whole outfit picture, I decided to take a pic of my favorite part. This head band was a gift from my friend Lori for my birthday this year. I LOVE it. I think it came from this Etsy shop: Gazzu.

So, not really big on the self portraits, but I guess you gotta do what you gotta do. Here I am in my craft room after a long day at work (my real job, not fun, crafty work).
